Vergil-san is his father. One of our unitmates currently away is his uncle—that is, Vergil-san's brother—so they're not entirely unrelated to us.

It's good that it was merely for sport, rather than anything serious. I was really worried that he would try to kill you when he visited before.

He was certainly thinking of doing so.

And he would kill me without hesitation if he had a reason to. Until then, he's entertaining enough.

. . . Well, if you'll be killed at some point, please let someone know. . . You know, Aniki is always looking for a sparring partner if you'd like to exercise like that more often.

Ahh, it's been . . . Well—I can say I'm better than I was yesterday, and I was better yesterday than I was the day before that, and so on.

Steady progress is the best one can hope for, I suppose.
