[Hey! do not call him out, please take him seriously as a reoccurring final boss.]
Vergil: It's a bit difficult to be much more than a "big growling dog" here. But if you don't believe me now, you'll see it soon enough now doubt, as I often take my memories in the open.
Vergil: Unfortunate circumstances of being the person who replaced him and fitting the same role. Take it up with the producers. Don't play this game with me, I know much more about you than you do about me.
Thancred: Which is still incredibly annoying. Thancred: However, you realise if you take advantage of that I'll have to start rooting out more information on you? And as you are aware, I am quite adept at finding out anything there is to know.
Vergil: Maybe I'm naive, not being a master spy, but I can think of few other methods in a place like this, regarding a man suffering amnesia. But because I hate the idea of someone digging, I would much rather tell you myself.
[He would have to ask around, of course. He's just confident in his ability to do so without obviously asking, or pissing anyone off. But rather than brag about things he should be doing secretly, he'll let it go for now.]
Thancred: So tell me all about you then. Or you can simply agree not to use what you know about me against me unless truly necessary, and I won't dig at all.
Vergil: Truthfully as much as I would prefer to be a far more private person, I see little point in making much of myself a secret when so much was already known by so many long before my arrival. I'm not going to sit here and run you through everything I know, start to finish. But I won't bother with trying to dodge anything when it would in fact be easily found out. So if it is something that concerns you, you can simply ask.
Thancred: A reasonable stance. The only problem is, I don't know the extent of what you know about me, so I'm not sure what to ask. Thancred: But rest assured I shall ask you should the need arise.
[Or he'll. who knows. Banter with Five until he gets a lead or something.]
Vergil: Honestly, less than you might think, considering he was playing at amnesia. Largely in your general personality, outlook, only some bits of your life relating to it.
