[He knows he is being mean to reject Lucifel's kindness, but... but. Everyone worrying about him and pointing out that he's not okay makes him so embarrassed it crosses over into angry. He doesn't want to be worried about. He doesn't want to be looked at with pity. He doesn't know what he does want, but it's not that!
So he's going to storm off and sulk elsewhere, rather than say something he doesn't mean just to try to get the shame to go away.]
