[Whyyyy does everyone keep bothering him about water?! He groans, listening to Lucifel stealing his bottles. He snatches one before they're all gone, but he doesn't want to lift his head so rather than drink from it he's just stashing it in his lap. Hah!]
[He could stop that with his ninja reflexes-- except no, he's way too drunk, so all he can do is whine. Which he does, loudly but wordlessly. He can't even refute what Lucifel says, it's just a general protest at life.]
Now—it is still yet early in the day to sleep, but a bath may do you some good. After that, there'll be mutton stew for you to eat, so take your time sobering up, Thancred-san.
[The spiteful, bitter part of Thancred wants to be a stubborn brat about this. Fortunately he is old enough and has learned enough to be well aware that he's out of control and needs help, so even if he cannot even begin to promise that he'll sober up for long, he at least doesn't fight Lucifel in this particular moment.
He just makes a long, frustrated sound, and then shoves himself to his feet, with a great deal of stumbling.]
Hide all that and I will kill you.
[It's an idle threat. He would not hurt Luci but he will be Upset!]
[Ugh. Thancred drags a hand down his face, willing himself to be at least a little bit emotionally steady. It's not working very well but at least he can shut up and wobble off to do as he's told. Grudgingly. He will try to get his booze back pretty quickly.]
[ he might be able to catch lucifel stashing the alcohol in lucifel's own room, before going to the kitchen to cook. It doesn't take him that long even so it's entirely possible he just tossed the bottles in or sth ]
[That smells heavenly and he really, really wants to go be fed.
But he also wants to get back to not having thoughts, so once he's gotten dressed and smacks his cheeks a bit to wake himself up, he is absolutely going to see if Lucifel's door is locked and if not, if he can get in.]
[ he CAN get in! Strangely, however, there is no alcohol to be found, at least not at first glance. His room is a little messy though, with clothes piled in the corner as well as like, handicrafts projects he's started. ]
[He's not quite desperate enough to trash Lucifel's room, so when he can't find it he'll leave. He's all sorts of bristly when he comes into the kitchen, though.]
[He's not going to lie about it. He knows what he's doing, he knows it's bad, but he feels so awful he just doesn't care.
He doesn't want to care, anyway. Underneath the willful apathy he's ashamed of himself, and afraid of what a mess he's become yet again. It's just that he wants to face himself even less the worse it gets.]
And I believe, as a grown man, I can choose to chase oblivion as much as I like.
Re: Day 280
[ keeping it far from his grasp, picking up whatever other bottles exist as well ]

Re: Day 280
I'll know when I've had enough.
Re: Day 280
[ pushing back the bottles to use both hands, the first still going in order to combat thancred's hand, the second hand going for the bottle ]

Have you not had enough liquor?
Re: Day 280
I've had enough for the moment, but it is still mine to put away where I wish.

[crossing his arms and making a face!!]
If you are going to patronize me I will take my leave for the day.

Re: Day 280
I am worried for you, Thancred-san. The way you drink seems as though you're trying to flee from sobriety as quickly and as often as possible.
